All natural fabrics comes out OFF WHITE after we heat set the printing to make it machine washable.  Therefore any white background / areas will be OFF WHITE even if the base fabric appears white on photos.

Composition: 100% Cotton

Our Chunky Cotton Knit fabric is woven from a medium weight cotton that can be used as a baby blanket or bed throw that contains lots of small holes, or cells. These holes are essential for maintaining airflow and helping to keep baby at the right temperature unlike tightly woven thick baby blankets which may cause overheating.

Please note that due to the texture of this fabric only bold / large patterns will work, and because it’s difficult to get the grain / weave of the fabric straight, your design should not have words or lines or blocks in.  A busy bold floral pattern will work best.  Colours also come out lighter / softer than it appears on your screen and not as vibrant, so it’s best to make your colours darker or more vibrant as light colours might disappear or look washed out.

SHRINKAGE:  Most of our NATURAL Fabrics has been PRE-Shunk, but the Chunky Cotton Knit shrinks a further +-10% after being printed (which means if you need a throw of 1.7m wide x 2m long, you will need to order 2.2m).  It doesn’t shrink on the width, so the width of the fabric will remain +-1.7m wide.

PRINT READY means that you laid out your artwork on the full printable width of the fabric (W) x the full length (H) of the amount of meters that you are ordering.

If you order more than 5 meters with panels, please send separate layouts of maximum 5 meters long.

If you are ordering a SEAMLESS PATTERN that has to be repeated over more than 5 meters, please send the SEAMLESS tile in the CORRECT SIZE and we will repeat it for you at no extra cost.  It’s the client’s responsibility to make sure that there are no seamlines in your artwork, we will not reprint if you supplied us with files that has seamlines or that wasn’t correctly sized before you sent it to us.

R150 LAYOUT FEE: If you are unsure whether your files are correctly sized and seamless, we can check your files for you and do the layout for you, just add the R150 layout fee per design.
